Academia dos Champs is a long-time friend and a partner in Teen Alive Aid. SILVA Learning highly respects and seconds the values of their project.
Academia dos Champs is a social integration project for youngsters and has been up and running since 2009. The pivot of this project has been Tennis. In addition to providing a world of fun, this project is seen as an effective tool to enable students to find guidance and learn life values, such as focus, discipline, hope, ambition, resilience.
With ADC, the students are given the opportunity to realise that their lives are an open field and the way they manoeuver the racquet will drive the ball in the right direction.
Teaching English as a tool for life
When Academia dos Champs approached us to be part of their new and commendable project “Universidade de ADC”, it was no surprise that we accepted it with open arms and an open heart.
Our English Language team has been working with some of the ADC students and it has been rewarding to witness their progress in the learning process and in their sense of confidence.
